This international Quality Management System recognises that the business applies a high level of control over the methods and general operations in place with the objective of fulfilling customer requirements and seeking continuous improvement.
Print companies operating in the Security Print industry also work to another international standard, CWA14641:2009.
This Security Management System is designed to ensure that the business applies a high level of security control over the operations in place and that the security of the site, the products, the data and the employees is appropriate for a security printing company.
Cartor has been successfully certified to this standard since 2006 and is rated as being appropriate for a High Security Printer.
FSC Chain-of-Custody is an international standard.
Achieving certification against the requirements of this standard demonstrates that the business applies a high control, traceability and accountability over the sourcing, purchasing, processing and despatch of wood-based materials and products produced from trees originating from responsible and sustainable (FSC certified) forestry schemes.
